Description
TARPN is a project to engineer and promote packet radio techniques that permit a scalable, inexpensive, long distance ham radio (no Internet) data network using cheap VHF and UHF surplus radios. The performance is good enough for a round-table chat with dozens of network participants simultaneously. See our web site. This net is open to TARPN participants and curious hams. If 3.981 MHz was busy, we might start the net on a nearby frequency. Check from 3.971 to 3.990 MHz.
