Description
The Beacon Net started “Lighting up the nighttime airwaves!” on June 5th of 2022. It started as a group of friends talking on the W8WKY repeater during COVID. Often the group would be keeping their truck driving buddy company as he passed through town. Since then it has grown in size and gets check-ins from across the nation and around the world! Using the magic of AllStar, repeater systems and nodes from all over the world connect for a fun night of comradery and trivia on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you’re located in Northeast Ohio, you can check-in on the 147.390 repeater. It has a positive offset and a PL Tone 114.8
